Rob Vargo’s journey is defined by perseverance, ambition, and a passion for building meaningful experiences. Raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Rob began his entrepreneurial career in 1987 with a $10,000 loan that grew into a multi-million-dollar company acquired by a Fortune 500 firm in 1997.

Driven by his love for golf, Rob entered the golf industry with the purchase of Bruce Hills Golf Club, immersing himself in every aspect of operations. His hands-on approach led to the acquisition and transformation of several notable properties, including the rebranding of Beavercreek Golf and Banquets into Myth Golf and Banquets, as well as the expansion into Hampton Golf Club and Golden Hawk Golf Club—now recognized as both a championship golf course and a premier wedding destination.

Beyond business, Rob is deeply committed to family, philanthropy, and community involvement. Three of his four children play key leadership roles within Vargo Golf, continuing the legacy he set out to build. Active in numerous local organizations and charitable causes, Rob values giving back, particularly in support of children’s education and homelessness initiatives. Some his favorite organizations include: the Polish Century Club, The Wort Hogs Police and Fire Club, Macomb County Community Relations and the Eagles Club. With a career spanning more than 37 years, Rob Vargo takes greatest pride not only in his accomplishments, but in the relationships and memories created along the way.
